The two areas of bodywork and paintwork and smart repair & hail, which were previously managed as separate divisions in the IRS Group, will now be placed together under the responsibility of Raphael Gilberg, who will be appointed as the new Managing Director of IRS Germany on 01.01.2022. In the future, the entire operational business within the German market will be bundled under this organizational unit.
Raphael Gilberg brings 17 years of experience from the German Carglass organization, where he was able to play a very strong role in developing growth in various management functions. After moving to Amplifon (world market leader for hearing systems), he was able to very strongly develop the focus topics of integration, customer enthusiasm and growth as Director of Sales and Operations. Most recently, as Managing Director Operations, Sales and Marketing, he was responsible for the growth of a large care service provider.
With the integration of the two divisions within IRS Germany, Raphael Gilberg will focus on maximum customer enthusiasm. With the 360° claims service, B2B customers in particular will be able to receive even more comprehensive support and access all services from a single source.
Frank Gerardy, under whose leadership the Body & Paint segment has grown to currently 30 locations, will move to IRS Holding as Chief Strategy Officer from January 2022 and will help shape the further strategic direction of the IRS Group with the topics of product innovation, M&A and digitization of operational processes.
The transformation process is intended to increase the Group's innovative strength, create a sustainable structure for all operations and drive forward the claims management of the future, with a particular focus on alternative drives. With these goals, the IRS Group is optimistic about the year 2022.
